Support appreciated for benefits

To the editor:

I want to take this opportunity to thank the management at Riddell National Bank downtown branch for the use of their downstairs facility to hold a benefit supper on May 3.

We have used the room and kitchen downstairs many times and it is perfect for these important functions to help people who are struggling or have fallen on hard times. The bank has never hesitated to step up and help and it is very much appreciated.

I would also like to thank The Brazil Times for always printing the info I send even though I very seldom get it to them, let's say in a timely manner. I am very appreciative of their generosity.

I also want to acknowledge my wife Penny and the others who do not hesitate to pitch in and do whatever it takes to make these suppers a success. I have heard people say many times that God works in mysterious ways, but there is no mystery to the way that God works through not only the ones who work these suppers.

Thank you all for your support and we look forward to serving whoever needs our help. Thank you and God bless.
