Councilman-to-be thanks voters for their support

To the editor:

I am grateful and want to thank all the people of Brazil City who came out to vote on Nov. 3, 2015. Especially the citizens of Brazil's 4th Ward for expressing their confidence in me at the polls. I am proud to be their representative on the city council and look forward to helping the city government become an even more effective partner in building a more prosperous and safer community.

Accomplishing this goal will require a joint effort and input from all residents and business leaders. During the campaign, I said I wanted to hear your concerns about and solutions for our city. I continue to welcome your ideas as I prepare to take my seat and look forward to a continuing discussion during my time on the council. I won't guarantee that you'll always agree with every decision I make, but I can guarantee that I will listen to your concerns and always be upfront about decisions I make as a council member. Thanks again for your support and together we can do some great things for our community.
