Governor: Organizations should be making various plans for activities in months ahead

Friday, April 17, 2020
Gov. Eric Holcomb

Gov. Eric Holcomb responded to a question about county fairs by saying organizations should be making alternative plans "for best case scenario" and other scenarios in the future. The Governor said the State will be reviewing statistics and making decisions on loosening restrictions in the days and weeks ahead. He said he could not determine now what might be the status of the stay-at-home order during the summer.

The Governor said another announcement about the stay-at-home order will be made on May 1 but there may be some modification of the order before May 1.
