BREAKING: 2020 Covered Bridge Festival canceled

BREAKING NEWS AS OF DEADLINE - After meeting to discuss the future of this year’s Covered Bridge Festival, Parke County officials announced the decision to cancel of one of the state’s biggest festivals.

On Monday, the Parke County commissioners met at 4 p.m. After a discussion about concerns due to COIVD-19 pandemic, they voted to cancel the event.

Originally scheduled to start on October, 9., the festival brings in visitors to the Wabash Valley from around the United States and beyond.
