Dick Johnson VFD postpones bean dinner to October 23

Due to a predicted bad weather forecast for the original date of October 2, the Dick Johnson Volunteer Fire Department has postponed its scheduled bean dinner to October 23.

The event will run from 2 p.m. until everything is sold out.

Beans, cornbread and drinks are available for $6, while kids' meals of a hot dog, chips and a drink are $4 each. Ice cream is available for $2.

The firehouse is located at 1995 W. C.R. 1200 North, Brazil.
