COVID-19 UPDATE December 30, 2021
Due to the New Year celebrations, the Indiana State Department of Health’s COVID-19 Dashboard will not be updated Friday, December 31. Normal updates will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022.

On Wednesday at noon, Clay County remained in the ORANGE Advisory Level, with the ISDH data showing the spread of the virus appears to be trending downward at this time.
Clay County’s status regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus on the ISDH four categories is as follows:

Advisory Category - ORANGE
Weekly Cases Per 100,000 Residents - 3/RED
7-Day All Tests Positivity Rate - 1/YELLOW
COVID-19 related death remained at 65 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Although the data appears to be stable for Clay County at this time, the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly throughout the United States, and national health officials worry it will get worse due to the recent holiday celebrations.

VACCINATION DASHBOARD UPDATE
The ISDH’s COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard reflects that 11,072 Clay County residents are fully vaccinated, with 3,606 booster shots administered.
Throughout Indiana, the dashboard reflects 4,477 new fully vaccinated residents among the overall total of 3,533,145 vaccinated. Those receiving booster shots total 1,254,879.
