As more and more people find themselves in need of food in these troubling times, they can get help from 11 “Blessing Boxes” placed at various locations throughout Clay and Vigo counties.

Locations & sponsors of the boxes are:

• #1 Grace Chapel — The Pritchard Family

• #2 First United Methodist Church — members

• #3 McKinley Hill Church — members

• #4 Launch Academy — SOS Ministries

• #5 First Christian Church — FCC

• #6 Berea Christian Church — members

• #7 The Rock, Clay City — anonymous donor

• #8 Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin Law Office, Terre Haute — FSTN Community 1st

• #9 Inside Out Recovery — Grace Chapel Women’s Group

• #10 Knightsville Town Hall — Town of Knightsville (in memory of Terri Close)

• #11 CODA, Terre Haute — Erin Luken in memory of Zachary Critchlow & Reba Luken

Organizers encourage donations to the boxes, which are not monitored and are available to anyone in need. Anyone can donate items.

The only requirements are that donations are non-perishable food (must not be expired) such as:

• hygiene products

• cleaning supplies

• NEW toys

• NEW clothes

Organizers request no used items to be donated, and that people only take what they need.

Donors and recipients are asked to latch the doors when finished.
