Sisters to host Mother’s Day Brunch on May 8

All mothers and their families are invited to join the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, for a Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 8.

The brunch will take place in the O’Shaughnessy Dining Hall, located in Providence Spirituality & Conference Center. Enjoy a special menu prepared by Bon Appetit, which will include eggs benedict, shrimp cocktail, prime rib and more. Guests 21 and older may also purchase cocktails.

Children 4 and under will be admitted free. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Valley Artists!

The 40|41 Arts & Cultural District is excited to announce the Sixth Street Arts Festival which will take place in downtown Terre Haute on June 25. This one-day festival will include and artists’ village where our regional artists can display and sell their original works of art. Artists living and/or working in the Indiana counties of Clay, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo and Clarke and Edgar counties in Illinois are eligible to apply.

The Arts Festival will also include a performance stage and a hands-on children’s activity area, as well as the artist village.

Artists, we hope you will join us and be a part of bringing back a downtown Terre Haute ArtsFest! The application materials can be accessed on the home page of artsilliana.com. This year, the Arts & Cultural District will underwrite the entry fee for those artists who are accepted into the festival.
