The Clay County Justice Center is a buzz of activity despite the cold temperatures, snow, and rain this winter. The crews are now working with the big cranes during the jail expansion project.

The Clay County Commissioners are excited to see the work.

"It's great to see steel going up," said Paul Sinders, who added that another facility has been undergoing renovations too. "There have been a lot of renovations taking place in the Justice Center. The kitchen and laundry will be completed soon. As soon as we get past winter weather, we will begin replacing the roof a section at a time."
