School Board meeting Thusrday

The Clay Community School Board of Trustees meets at the Central Administration Office, 1013 South Forest Avenue, Brazil, on the second Thursday of each monthly for its regular session.

Thursday’s Clay Community School Board of Trustees meeting at the Central Administration Office, 1013 South Forest Avenue, Brazil, will have the first monthly updates about the current school year.

Jackson Township Elementary Principal Brad Ennen will inaugurate this series.

The board will also have a presentation and request permission to advertise the 2024 Budget, 2024 Capital Projects Plan, and 2024 School Bus Replacement Plan and consent to solicit bids for new buses.

Director of Extended Services Aron Hammond will provide an update about the boiler situation at North Clay Middle School.

The board will also discuss adult meal prices, corporation cars, and cell phones.

The 2023 Spring ILEARN highlights and grants to support the adult education program will be discussed.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Board Room at the Central Office.
