CYNTHIA KAY WARREN, Brazil, IN

Cynthia Kay Warren, 63, passed away November 26, 2023 surrounded by her family at St. Vincent Hospital. Cynthia was born to the late Frederick McRoy and Elizabeth Ann Johnson on August 7, 1960 in Indianapolis.

Cynthia attended Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. After graduation she began her family having two children, Andrew and Jennifer. In 1994 she moved to Brazil. Cynthia was primarily a stay-at-home mom who cared for her family deeply. A few years ago, she began working at Union Hospital as a call center specialist.

Cynthia was a Lego enthusiast, building many different pieces. Cynthia was a very talented seamstress, she loved sewing and cross stitching. When her children were younger, she often made their clothing, and made each family member a Christmas stocking. She loved to cook, and was known for her baked mac and cheese, that was always a favorite at family get togethers. The most important thing in Cynthia’s life was her faith. She was a member of Christ Community Church. She often attended Bible Studies and was very involved in multiple ministry groups in Indianapolis.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her siblings, Jeff, Joe and Jimmy.

Cynthia is survived by her two children, Jennifer Fields (Kevin) and Andrew Warren (Amy), grandchildren, James Fields, Kahla Warren, Devin Fields, Chloe Warren, Justean Fields, Shyan Dunlap, Alexa Warren, and Colton Brown, two siblings, Joanie Kasper (Dave), and Larry Johnson, and her favorite nephew, Phill “Pip” Kasper, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 1st from 12- 2 P.M. at Lawson – Miller, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will begin at 2 P.M. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
