MARILYN KAY BUSSING, Brazil, IN

Marilyn Kay Bussing, 80, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Union Hospital, on January 8, 2024.

Marilyn was born on July 5, 1943, in Frankfort, Indiana the daughter of Thomas and Maxine (Sheets) Smock. She graduated from Brazil High School where she had been a cheerleader. Marilyn worked at Columbia House for several years before retiring.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall, in Brazil. She enjoyed working crosswords, bowling, singing and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Maxine Smock; her husband Richard “Dink” Bussing, her son Kevin Bussing, and her brother Thomas Smock.

She is survived by her son Kelly Bussing and wife Kristie and daughter-in-law Shelly Bussing Reedy; grandchildren: Jeremy Bussing (Nicole), Jordan Bussing (Cheyenne), Larissa Bussing, and Rachel Mount (Jasper); several great-grandchildren; and a sister Nancy Dickison (Sam); two special friends Nancy and Richard Griffin; as well as several extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at The Little Church in Turner on January 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home.
