ROBERT “BOBBY” MOORE, Brazil, IN

Robert “Bobby” Moore, 71, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on January 19, 2024, surrounded by his family while staying at Towne Park.

Bobby was born on September 9, 1952, in Brazil, Indiana, the son of Robert Joseph and Kathleen M. (Biggs) Moore. He graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 1970 and attended college, in Indianapolis, majoring in business. Bobby returned to Brazil and married his high school sweetheart, Janet Marie Baker in March of 1971.

Growing up, Bobby worked for Casassa Dairy Farm. Bobby and Janet owned and operated Triple J Trucking for several years. More recently, he worked for Growers Co-Op and for Hobby Trucking. Bobby retired due to health concerns nearly 10 years ago.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father Robert Moore and wife Janet Moore.

Bobby is survived by his mother Kathleen Moore; sons: Jay Moore, Jon Moore (Kelli), Jason “Pugs” Moore (Amanda); grandchildren: Lilyana, Annabella, Colton, and Addyson; a sister Christina “Tena” Sneddon.

Visitation will be held at Lawson – Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 5-7 PM. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Steve Blaydes officiating. Private burial will be held at Clearview Cemetery at a later date.
