Jacquelyn Jean (Harden) Evans, 81, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on January 21, 2024.

Jacque was born on September 16, 1942, in Brazil, Indiana the daughter of Frank and Ethel M. (Miller) Harden. Jacque worked for Columbia House for several years. She also worked as a waitress at Elks and the Fox’s Restaurant. She attended Grace Chapel Church. She married Jerry Gene Evans on June 1, 1972.

Jacque enjoyed shopping, mushroom hunting, going out to dinner, traveling, and hunting for seashells on the beach.

Jacque was preceded in death by her two children Darlene Brush and Ricky Brush; her twin brother Jack Harden; siblings: Bill Harden, Jerry Harden, Darlene Webb, and Shirley Roeschlein.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years Jerry Evans; children: Sandy Burdete, Donald R. Brush Jr., Greg Evans (Marcia), David Evans (Carol), and Teresa Moss (Brad); grandchildren: Brian McCullough, Chad McCullough, Tony Brush, Jacque Chafey, Tabitha Evans, Scott Stangle, Jeremy Evans, Kyle Huff (Ashley), Kendra Vicars (Kenny), Sarah Clayton (Christian); 26 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tim Russell officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of services.
