Jay L. Farris, 59, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at his home, unexpectedly, on February 1, 2024.

Jay was born on March 20, 1964, in Brazil, the son of Jerry and Rosella (Cox) Farris. He graduated from Brazil High School. Jay worked as a fork truck driver for Happico, in Greencastle, Indiana and most recently for Kroger, in Brazil.

When he wasn’t working he loved to go fishing. He was a loving brother and uncle and was very proud of his record Crappie.

Jay is survived by his brother Joe Farris and his sister Jill Clark; nieces and nephews: Logan Borders, Jeffrey Borders, Megan Farris, and Jeremy Farris (April).

Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home, in Brazil.
