CHARLES C. PRICE, Brazil, IN

Charles C. Price passed away the evening of February 17, 2024, at the Villas of Hollybrook, Brazil, Indiana. Born January 15, 1932, he was the son of Edward “Dick” and Catherine Bridgewater Price. He graduated from Brazil High School in 1949.

Charlie was raised on a dairy farm and delivered milk as a young man. He later became a truck driver for Shwerman and reached the Million Mile Safe Driving milestone. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. Also, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In addition, he was a member of the Masons for many years.

He was known as Chuck as a young man and while married to his first wife Paulina (Polly) Foxworthy, whom he married in May of 1960. In retirement, Chuck and Polly lived for several years in Fort Myers, Florida.

Following Polly’s death in May of 1998, Charlie returned to live in Indiana. He married Jo Ann Terril Pell in February of 2000. Charlie and Jo Ann enjoyed traveling to Florida for part of the winter months for several years.

Charlie was a member of the Fairview Christian Church.

Preceding Charlie in death were his parents, his wives, and his brothers Don Price and Bob Price.

He is survived by nephews Troy Price, Brian Price, and Dean Price and nieces Cathy Coleman and Donna Price as well as his sister-in-law Dee Price. His step-daughters Becky (Jim) Clausen and Mindy (Rick) Godsey also survive as do great-nieces and great-nephews and step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held. Interment will be at Summit Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Christian Church.
