NAOMI RUTH (HEATH) CORBIN, Clay County, IN

Naomi Ruth (Heath) Corbin 92, of Clay City, passed away February 25, 2024, at Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute, IN.

She was born Nov. 23,1931, the daughter of Earl (Jack) Heath and Nina Vivian (West) Heath.

On April 22, 1988, she was united in marriage to Richard D. Corbin of Sparks, Nevada, where the couple resided until 1998.

Naomi was a member of Union Chapel Church of the Nazarene.

She spent the majority of her working career with the Clay City News advancing to managing editor before the move to Nevada. Upon the couple’s return, she worked for the Spencer Evening World until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters (Maxine Zurcher and June Skinner).

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 28 at 1 pm. at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City, IN with Pastor Paul Zurcher officiating.
