JUDITH LYNN PITTSENBARGER, Brazil, IN

Judith Lynn Pittsenbarger, 78, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away while staying at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care, on March 22, 2024.

Judy was born on December 14, 1945, in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Jack and Marie (Barbee) Hinesley. She married Kenneth Pittsenbarger November 18, 1978; he preceded her in death in 2014.

Judy worked as a careholder and foster parent caring for many people over the years. She also worked for the Clay County Learning Center for 23 years.

Judy enjoyed being a caregiver and foster parent. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with family and friends and going to the casino’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Marie Hinesley; siblings: Jack Hinesley, Robert Hinesley, Patricia Cody, Don Hinesley, Janet Hiddle, and Larry Hinesley.

Survivors include her children: Donnie Nevins, Jack Nevins (Sandra), Scott Nevins (Holly), and Kristina Hall; grandchildren: Kayla Nevins, Nicholas Nevins (Tiffany), Lucas Nevins (Hannah), Casey Nevins, Kelton Nevins (Ashley), Sarah Nevins (James Crowe), Abigail Nevins, and Samantha Swayze; great-grandchildren: Kyndrah Eaglin, Noah Nevins, Isaac Nevins, Marshall Nevins, Oliver Crowe, Peyton Crowe, Sophia Swayze, Audrey Miller, Jack Miller, and Bryant Barnette; siblings: Fred Hinesley and Karen (Benny) Boes; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Services will be at 1:00 with Mary Jo Archer officiating with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
