Carol Walker passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024, in Brazil, Indiana, at the age of 75. Born on August 31, 1948, in Somerset, Kentucky, Carol grew up in a bustling household, the beloved sibling among 17 brothers and sisters. A proud graduate of Brazil High School, Carol's youthful spirit and zest for life were infectious to all who knew her. She carried her love for her community through every aspect of her life, always ready with a warm smile and a helping hand. Carol's passions were as diverse as they were engaging. She found joy and freedom on the open road, riding her cherished Harley Davidson, with the wind as her companion. Her culinary skills were second to none, and she took great pleasure in cooking for others, her dishes as much a comfort as her presence. Gardening was another of Carol's talents, her hands nurturing life in the soil, creating beauty for all to enjoy. The simple act of feeding birds brought her a sense of connection to nature and the creatures she so loved. Friends and family will remember Carol for her exceptional sense of humor, her friendliness that knew no bounds, and her selfless nature. She was the person who could light up a room with her wit and make anyone feel at home with her generosity. Carol's legacy is one of joy, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the happiness of others. She will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Wright and Margaret (Adams) Johnson, and her husband, Jerry Walker.

Carol is survived by her daughter Heather Padgett (Josh) of Spring Hill Tennessee, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two special friends, Terry Harrison and Katie Aker.

Carol was a big animal lover, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clay County Humane Society, 8280 County Road 125 West Brazil, Indiana 47834.
