LEE WILLIAM GREGORY, SR., Brazil, IN

Lee William Gregory, Sr., 90, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 1, 1934 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Lloyd and Irene (Snyder) Gregory. Lee graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1951 and served his country in the U.S Air Force during the Korean War. He married Brenda Jones on September 1, 1973. In his early years he was a delivery driver for Crandon Drugs, and later owned Gregory’s Wood Stoves.

Lee was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, V.F.W, Outdoor Recreation, as well as being a 32nd Degree Mason. In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Cubs and Bears, working in his gardens, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his brothers, Hugh, Pat, Jim, and Bill; as well as a grandson Riley Gregory.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gregory of Brazil; sons, Lee William (Erica) Gregory, Jr of Brazil, William Gregory of Terre Haute; daughter, April (Daryl) Gregory-Riggs of Greenville, South Carolina; brothers, Dean (Cheryl) Gregory of Washington State, and Charles (Linda) Gregory of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Cherokee (Cody) Gregory, J.R. (Betsy) Riggs, Lee William Gregory, III, John Michael Gregory, Damien Gregory and Isabell Gregory; great-grandchildren, River, Nirvana, Freedom, and Chief.
