CAROL ANN FRANCIS, Formerly Clay City, IN

Carol Ann Francis, 85, of Bloomington passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington, IN.

She was born on December 25, 1938, in Clay City, Indiana the daughter of Roy and Ruth (Brough) Francis. Carol was a 1956 graduate of Clay City High School.

She was a home maker and also worked in her younger years as a nanny in Clay City, Indiana. And then at Lazarus Department Store at the Greenwood Mall in Greenwood, Indiana and then at the College Mall in Bloomington Indiana as a cosmetic sales associate at both malls for many years.

Carol was a member of the Clay City Nazarene Church. She loved her family and spending time with son Michael. She also enjoyed listening to music, vacating in Las Vegas, shopping, dining with friends. And laughing, She will be greatly missed.

Carol is survived by her sons, Daniel Tucker; Joseph (Jeri) Tucker; James (Tammy) Tucker; Stephen Tucker; Anthony Tucker; all of Brazil, IN; Michael Tucker of Bloomington; her six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; her sister, Roslyn Daily of Greensboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruth Francis; and her husband, Clarence Benjamin Wolfe.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
