Chamber of Commerce gives thanks

To the Editor:

The Clay County Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank everyone who participated in the Town Hall Meeting with Congressman Brad Ellsworth on Nov. 23, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil.

There were 70 attendees from the local community who participated in a spirited discussion on Health Care and Clean Air Legislation.

We also wish to thank the St. Vincent Clay Hospital for providing a location for the meeting and their continued support of our local community and Chamber of Commerce events.

Your Clay County Chamber of Commerce continues to present speakers who provide critical information regarding community, pending legislation both locally and nationally, and other government and business affairs information.

Your Clay County Chamber of Commerce holds regular monthly membership meetings that are many times open to the public. Check local newspapers and our website at www.claycountychamber.org for upcoming events.
