Temporary closure coming to State Road 46 near Riley

RILEY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary closure of a portion of State Road 46 near Riley to replace culverts.
Beginning on or after Tuesday, November 14, crews will be closing down S.R. 46 from Donham Drive to County Road 650 W. The closure will be between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily and is expected to last until late November.
The official detour around the closure will be from I-70 to U.S. 40 to S.R. 59, lasting about 20 miles in length.
INDOT encourages drivers to be mindful of worker safety while traveling around any construction zones. This can include avoiding distracted driving and obeying the work zone speed limit.
