Temporary restrictions coming to Springhill Drive in Terre Haute
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces temporary restrictions on Springhill Drive in Terre Haute between 12th Street and Erie Canal Road in connection with a local project.
Beginning on or after Monday, March 4, the eastbound lane of Springhill Drive will be restricted allowing for traffic to flow through the westbound lane only.
There will also be a width restriction of 10 feet from 12th Street to Erie Canal Road.
Crews will be reconstructing the road in this area.
Work is expected to continue until November of 2024, but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
Access will be maintained for the Honey Creek Fire Department throughout this project.
INDOT encourages all drivers to drive slowly through the construction and for drivers to follow the guidance of any flaggers or law enforcement in the area.
