Morrison welcomes local student pages to the Statehouse
STATEHOUSE (April 26, 2023) – State Rep. Alan Morrison (R-Brazil) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2023 legislative session.
As pages, the students assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Morrison on the House floor to witness and learn about the legislative process.
"I appreciate young Hoosiers from our community who want to learn more about government and the legislative process," Morrison said. "Their visit to the Statehouse offers a unique hands-on learning experience and could spark in interest in public service."
Northview High School students Drew Cook, Derek Morrison and Katie Morrison from Brazil served as pages during the 2023 legislative session.
Morrison said students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating during the 2024 legislative session.
