Coroner: Heart failure killed teen (12/09/03)
Heart failure has been determined to be the cause of death for 13-year-old Kodi Pipes. That was the conclusion of Dr. Roland Kohr, a forensic pathologist at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. According to Clay County Coroner Rick Swearingen, the medical term is post-myocarditis with myocardopathy, which means, "basically a weakening of the structure of the heart," Swearingen said this morning...

Born July 21, 1905, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Urzinus and Zula Cordella "Dell" Kellum Sendmeyer. She taught school at the former Poland School before marrying Arthur E.
