Many shop owners said that they will have trouble catching up no matter what they prepare in advance. The Clay County Historical Society has received a $2,000 grant to help with renovations. The grant came from the Parke County REMC's Multi-County Community Grant program. Patrons of St. Vincent Clay Hospital have been experiencing difficulties phoning the hospital switchboard, said spokesperson Jennifer Orr. The problem arose because Verizon listed both the hospital's old number and new number in the latest telephone directory. The correct number is 442-2500...
