Bertha Mae Pollard, 76, lifelong resident of Clay County, Indiana, died, February 16, 2015 at her home in Brazil, Indiana. She was born December 5, 1938 the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Vanatti) Kohler. Bertha worked at Windbreaker for many years. She also worked for CARS, in Brazil, from which she retired from after 16 years of service. Bertha enjoyed cooking; especially noodles and fudge. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family and friends and collecting Elvis memorabilia...

The scam threatens to shut off a customer's electricity unless a payment is made within an hour with a prepaid debit card. Report: Man arrested after failing to yield for police vehicle

A Terre Haute man who failed to yield for an emergency vehicle last week was allegedly found to be under the influence and in possession of a synthetic drug. Gaige Michael Norris, 20, was charged with misdemeanor counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a synthetic drug or synthetic drug lookalike substance.
