SR 42 will close Monday in Clay County

The state’s transportation department plans to close a portion of State Road 42 later this month to allow for a bridge demolition. The closure will take place on Monday, Oct. 17 and last until Monday, Oct. 31. Crews will demolish an abandoned bridge over SR 42 located nearly 4.5 miles west of SR 59. Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry gets grant from UDWI REMC The UDWI REMC Community Fund has awarded Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry $1,000 for its “Meat” the Need program.
