The growing problem of child abuse in Clay County is something that everyone needs to become aware of and do something about. “Indiana is a mandatory reporting state. Every Indiana resident has to report child welfare cases, it is the law,” said Clay County CASA Director Sarah Tellechea, who is constantly looking for new recruits for the program. “If it’s found out that someone was aware of child abuse and child neglect and did not report it, charges can be levied against that person.”...

Veterans Day Ribfest sets new record
