Council adopts budget (11/12/08)
After months of crunching numbers and pinching pennies, the City of Brazil has completed its 2009 budget. The Common Council of the City of Brazil unanimously voted to adopt the proposed budget during Tuesday's meeting. "Mathematically it works, but it does not solve all of the city's problems," Dan Hedden, CPA Principal for Umbaugh and Associates, Indianapolis, said. "There is not a lot of room for error or changes, but we want to make sure the city ends 2009 with money in the bank."...
