'Mud Mania' scheduled (08/12/11)
Clay County's "Mud Mania," will take place Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7. General admission will be $7. Alisha Lord, Osgood Ind., and Beau McKinney, Brazil, were sworn into the Brazil Police Force on Friday. They will both be probationary officers for a year before being promoted to patrolmen.
NMK Band Boosters set for fundraiser (08/12/11)
The Band Boosters for the Northview Marching Knights will conduct a fundraiser Saturday, Aug. 20, for the band. An all-you-can-eat (and catch) pancake breakfast will run from 8-10 a.m., at the high school, 3150 W. State Road 340, Brazil. Nationally known Chris Cakes will entertain those in attendance as they flip and serve their pancake breakfasts...
