Sisters of Providence to dedicate statue Sunday at ceremony (06/25/09)
WEST TERRE HAUTE -- A lifesize statue of Saint Mother Theordore Guerin, foundress of the Sisters of Providence, will be dedicated at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, at St. Mary-of-the-Woods. The statue has been placed near the entrance of the Church of the Immaculate Conception at the end of the main drive just east of the fountain. A new walkway with lighting and landscaping leads to the statue site and benches and a plaque will soon be added...
